As of today the number of people waiting for organ donation is 98,154. This is almost thousand more people from September 2007 when the count was around 97,000. At this alarming rate, within a six months the number of people waiting for organ donation will cross 100,000. That will be a worrisome trend. Help pass the message of organ donation to your friends and relatives. On this Christmas day, nothing is great than saving a life. Wish you all a merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
Starting today, I am planning to write about a disease that needs organ/tissue/marrow transplant. As I see, more and more people looking for information about a particular disease. Since Sanjivan.com strives to be a complete source of information about organ donation, it is very natural that Sanjivan.com needs to have information about the diseases that creates the necessity of organ donation in first place. All the articles about diseases will be categorized as dKnowledge Bank.
I came across Matching Donors long time ago and it was with their inspiration that I studied about organ donation and understanding how people are desperately waiting for Organ Donaton. Thanks to their great service, people are finding matching donors. Check out their website at Matching Donors

This week bay area had an earthquake measured 5.6 on the Richter scale. Everything moved, including my house and my heart. I suddenly felt how mortal our life is.
Often we think, that we are invincible. More than that, we think that we are doing the a lot of work. Our priorities around the day revolve around that work and we tend to feel, unless we do the work, the world ( at least our world) will come to a stop.
The Earthquake gave a big jolt to the above myth. It showed how fragile is our existence. I also felt that every day is so precious that I/We can something that can make the world a better place.
There are many days where one feels tired and let down. Then there are days where one feel very elated.
If you look at the days where you felt elated and happy, I am sure you must have helped someone so that you got that feeling. I felt, the more I help people, the more I will be happy and feel better.
I decided that I will provide around 10 to 20 hours of FREE help to Non-Profits based in the Bay Area. I come from a background of web design and development, so if any Non-Profit needs help in building or maintaining a website, I would help them out. If your Non-Profit needs help, please write a comment to this or any of the posts with your information, I will reach out to you.
Have a great day!
